SqueekchainLink to this section

Squeekchain connects a physical hamster wheel with a mining economy on Ethereum. The Hamster Miner records wheel activity, and accepted work becomes part of a record on Ethereum. Squeek Miner NFTs earn SQK linked to that work, and their owners can direct a share of those rewards to fund SqueekFi projects.

You can follow the wheel and explore the public data without a wallet or an NFT. If you're interested in owning a Miner, these docs explain how mining power, merging, and rewards fit together.

How the wheel connects to rewardsLink to this section

A sensor detects a magnet passing as the wheel moves. The device checks those readings and saves accepted passages as work. Services then check the records before submitting that work to Ethereum.

Recording work and paying rewards are separate steps. The reward system uses completed Squeek blocks to fund SQK for eligible Miners, and owners claim their available share to a wallet. Owning more mining power can increase your share.

How it works follows the steps from a sensor reading to a reward claim.

Following the numbersLink to this section

The wheel, Ethereum record, and available rewards don't all update at once. A delay between them is not necessarily a fault, and missing data doesn't mean that no work happened. See Why the numbers don't always match when you want to understand a particular total.

The sensor records accepted magnet passages—not which animal moved the wheel or why. Video is a separate way to observe the device, not proof that work was counted. What the system proves explains those limits.
